Contax Glass on the 5D

Over in another thread we're discussing glass options on FF cameras, and since I've been looking to move to using mainly primes, I began investigating it. Upon conversation with another member, it was brought up that there may be some issues clearing the 5D Markiii's mirror.

Is it possible to shave down the metal on these lenses in order to make them work?

I'm looking at purchasing the

35mm Diastagon 2.8
50mm Planar 1.7
85mm Planar 2.8

I have these three and have not had a problem with the mirror. However, there can sometimes be a problem with the stop-down tab on the back of the Contax lenses. First I was removing those that gave problems, but then later decided to just hog out a little of the plastic on the 5d where it was hitting, and that solved the problem.
