OK, so I've shot some stuff on my DVX100A and always used Panasonic tapes (AMQ).
Now, I have an old Canon ZR10 camcorder that I'd like to use for viewing and maybe editing, which would save wear and tear on the DVX. But the ZR10, although it hasn't been used a lot, has had non-Panasonic tapes in it.
My question is, if I use the ZR10 to play and edit the AMQ tapes, will it somehow contaminate the AMQ tapes with wet lube reside or whatever? So if I did this and then put some of the AMQ tapes back in the DVX it would contaminate the DVX. Or am I concerned about nothing?
