SHORT: Constructive feedback for Wise Hit web series.

To my fellow filmmakers, I would like to get some constructive feedback from you guys regarding my web series called Wise Hit. It is a very low budget production shot in Shanghai, China, where I live. (A Western filmmaker at the Eastern front) . I feel that you guys will be the best when it comes to constructive criticism, because we all filmmakers who are striving to become better.

As far as consistency goes, you have it. That's a mark of professionalism. The over the top acting, corny dialog, voiced over, and sound effects are, I guess part of the element of style you're going after. The sound effects became a little annoying (too frequent) and sometimes seemed to overpower the speech. One aspect I personally want to see is some heart. If you want to go back and parody the films of the past, it's also good to mimic the themes. It was a little hard to root for, like, and relate with the main character in that aspect. Otherwise it's wacky and zany.
 
Softdrinks, I totally agree with you about the sound effects I need to control it more in future episodes also to develop wiseguy character, his sensitive side so the audience will follow him easily.

I do think you choose the perfect actor for the main character. Very suave and smooth. Looks like you're gaining good exposure for your work. Congrats and keep up the good work! Would like to see a full feature one day!
 
Thanks softdrinks, That is one of my dreams to make Wise Hit into a feature length film . The exposure for the web series has been amazing I am blessed . Right now I'm focusing on getting it picked up by a studio or find a investor to make it into a television series and feature film.

Friggen Brilliant!!, lmfao. Would like better audio. But other than that I thought it was great. made me laugh my ass off.
 
Thank you maranfilms!, I will spend more time on making sure the audio is perfect during production and postproduction.
