Considering all the variables when testing / reporting tests.

There has been a lot of discussion about card speed as a variable in whether hack settings work for you or not. Clearly, the card you use matters.

But there are SEVERAL variables, and in our efforts to determine the best settings we're not going to make as much progress if folks not reporting all of these variables.

These variables include:

- the hack settings used
- the SDHC card: manufacturer, speed (Class 6, Class 10, and size (16gb, 8gb, etc)
- the lens -- particularly whether it's Micro-4/3 or not (i.e., sending metadata)
- the subject being filmed -- the star chart is helpful in this respect
- camera movement in shot
- duration of shot
- possibly also the other settings you might have in your Gh1 menus?

Finally, there are probably variables caused by manufacturing (say, one person's Class 6 16GB Transcend card is capable of recording faster than someone else's)... but digging into that level of variation would just make my head hurt.

It would be great if all of those variables would be listed. After I do the hack, I'll do this with any trials I make.
