Considering a used HVX200MC (import) - advice?

Hi,
I've been offered a used HVX200mc (Chinese variant) for £1600...
Is there anything I need to know about buying an import before going ahead?
Will UK P2 cards, connectors etc work with it?
What format does it shoot in - NTSC, PAL?... And what variable frame rates can I get on it? Does it shoot 25 frames or 24 frames as standard?

The warranty is finished anyway... So I wouldn't get support from them even if it were a European model. And I'm meeting up with the seller face-to-face so I'll have the chance to check the camera out before parting with my cash.

I just want to know if there are any actual differences to the functionality of the camera?
 
I am not sure but one you have the camera in your hands make sure it has the frequency you are looking for (50hz in europe)
