considering a DSLR or... not, maybe, dunno...?

im an old brevis adapter guy, but with all the DSLR (and rumored other cameras) buzz, i decided to sell all my adapter gear while it still had value.

so im sitting on a few grand and am considering my options...

the 5Dii sounds like the best option, but have any of you heard legit buzz about anything else? ive seen a few rumors about a new canon offering soon, but from what i read its a smaller sensor model, and im looking for a full frame camera.

i still have my hpx170 for traditional video uses. im considering this for the 3-4 times a year i have call for a more cinematic look.

A 5D2/7D combo would work fine in most situations. The shortcomings these cameras have is worth it because they have such an excellent iq paired with good lenses.
