Connecting your HPX170 to you computer - live view

Hi,

I’m just wondering if there is anyway that I can connect my laptop to my HPX170 in the field to view what I am filming, and/or record right onto the computer, through and editing program like final cut or something similar. I do have a P2 card, but this is just for a fun thing to do. And would be nice for interview type situation.

Adobe OnLocation is ideal for this. There are other programs on the Mac, such as ScopeBox. You can sort of do it through FCP by using the Log & Capture window.
