Connecting PC monitor through HDMI?

hi, I have a BenQ 1080p PC monitor with HDMI input.
can it be connected to any camcorder which has uncompressed HDMI out?
 
No reason why it shouldn't work. HDMI is a standard.

Works fine with any HDTV which can be used a computer monitor.
 
I tried the HDMI to the DVI port on my Dell 19" lcd... it looks great.

Note: You will see a bunch more dark color noise with PC monitors, much much more then my 42" HD TV.
