Confusion about 24p in Vegas 9 and VLC?

I'm a bit confused about frame rates.

I did the C-setting Hack. So I should be getting 24fps @ 1920x1080p, correct? In VLC it says this clip is:

Video
Codec:H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
Resolution 1920x1080
Frame rate: 47.942469????

Does this mean it is really interlaced 23.97?

Also, in Vegas Pro 9 it shows the same MTS file as 23.971

Did I do something wrong with my hack? I select the 24p wrapper?

I have been rendering out my projects as 24p. Is that messing up the output quality?

I did no pull down. Just raw files on Vegas timeline, some cross dissolves a title or two and out to cineform codec.

Now my MJPEG is showing correctly at 1280x720 30fps.

If i want to do slow motion to 24p, Which setting is 60 frame per second? That would be the second AVCHD setting? 1280x720? Is that correct. There is no 60 fps using MJPEG?
 
render out at 23.976 progressive if you are using the hack with native 24p checked.

VLC is a pos don't pay attention to it.
