I am involved in a 4 camera live shoot streaming over the internet. We are using 2 hvx200s and two hpx170s. We are shooting in 480i/30p. Both 200's and one 170 span every few minutes but one of the 170's did not span and recorded continiously from the beginning to end on the p2. Is there a setting in the camera that allows a p2 not to span?
confused on p2 spanning...or not?

No. are you using the same size cards in each cam? P2 records a 4GB clip, then starts new clip transparent to the user. or if a card fills up, you can see it jump to the next card. the situation you describe is inconsistent with the way the cameras work.
