Dear all,
After playing around with my new 100A for few days, I'm still confused on how to auto-mode works. Hope someone can help me clarify this.
Lets assume I set all params to "ON" for auto-mode. Now, after pressing the auto button, it's in auto-mode. OK, no problem. But if I go and change to iris by playing around the iris dial, the iris can be controlled. Say, I open it wider than the previous auto-mode. So, I get a over-exposure picture now. Ok, I move my camera and zoom in to a darker area. The auto-iris now takes effects and re-adjust the iris. After that, I moves the camera back to the original scene (where I changed the iris to make it over-exposure just now), now without touching the iris dial, the auto-mode already gives me an over-exposure picture. What does it mean?
The user manual does mentioned about "even auto-mode, if manually change iris, it takes over control". But it doesn't mention "how".
Hope some experts here can clarify how the auto-mode works (for all params--iris, shutter speed, white balance, gain etc.). My question is focus on: after clicking on the auto button, what if I touch the iris/gain/white balance/shutter... button?
Thanks!!
