Confused FS100 or FS700 What to buy?

I know all that I have to ask myself before buying a cam, but I just can't decide FS100 or FS700? If you can tell me what you like about each camera and maybe it will help me decide. One thing I have noticed on the FS700, the colors seem way better balanced than the FS100 matrix neo look, it always seem to have a sort of greenish hue:undecided

It's nothing that can't be fixed with some cc. Personally, I would love the fs700 with the nd for all the outdoor weddings and the slow mo for the action sports. However at this point in time, the fs100 suites my needs very well. If I can pay off the fs700 within 3 months next year, I'll be switching. If you can only afford the fs100, it's a great camera! Still easily one of the best in the price range.

If you have a very tight budget and no good lenses, I would get a used FS100 and some nice glass. So far, the FS700 hasn't overwhelmed me other than the increased resolution. While the resolution might be more or less future proof, I don't think the quality really is.

BUT if you have a decent budget, definitely go for the 700. You won't have to buy a heliopan, so it's really only $2,500 more. Certainly the best sub-$10k option.

Might be worth waiting for the BMCC too. Get that, some great glass, make some money and buy a 4k camera a year or two down the road.

looks like we are going fs700 due to the fact that the 100 has serius skin tone issues plus a green hue i see in evry fs100 vid, with the new gammas on fs700 they seem balanced and would have to color corect less

none of my shots have a green hue....

The only thing better about the FS-100 is its lowlight ability, but the FS700 is still very good at lowlight. Also after you buy a good ND kit there is only $2500 difference between the FS 100 and the FS 700 as Kyle mentioned. The FS 700 has quite a few upgrades which include:

Super slow motion (120 and 240 in full HD)
Built in ND (do not need to change ND filter when you change lenses--a time saver)
slightly sharper image due to 4K down sample
Four Hypergama settings (same as F3)
better highlight roll off
better skin tones
better Top handle
Arri Rossette
large buttons and switches
ability to take 8mp still images
HD-SDI

Is all that worth $2500? For some yes and for others no. Notice that I did not mention the 4K upgrade. I do not think this should be part of anyone's decision so you will not be disappointed with its price, performance, or how long it takes to get to market.

I´m playing with a 700 in the moment and love it more every day.

Just throwing this out there, but I would love to see some FS100 vs FS700 footage just to compare how they handle the reds and highlights. The AbelCine low light tests were VERY telling and now I want more!

I have a FS700 on pre-order at two different places but since I don't really need the slow-mo, I'm trying to convince myself that the FS100 is good enough...
