Confused about the recording modes

[Briody]

Panasonic's information talks about the 720p recording modes, but also lists this information about the modes

# PH - 21 Mpbs (1920x1080) -- Highest Quality Setting

# HA - 17 Mpbs (1920x1080)

# HG - 13 Mpbs (1920x1080)

# HE - 6 Mpbs (1440x1280) - Perfect for Long-form Recording

I don't see 720p listed above. I've numerous things about PH being the highest quality with 3 hours of record time on the 32gb card. PH mode is 1080. But what if I want to record the highest quality 720p? Wouldn't the lower resolution allow for more recording time?

That's what is confusing me. Is there a 720 version of PH mode?

yup, the 720p mode is available in the PH mode.

yup, the 720p mode is available in the PH mode.

Thanks! So how much record time does 720p PH mode get from a 32gb card?

[Barry_Green]

3 hours on a 32GB card. All PH modes record the same duration.

Thanks Barry. That answers my question.
