Hi there,
So I'm still learning here to please bear with me. I have been able to convert the "MTS" files from the SDHC card using MainConcept AVCHD Transcoder 2.1. I assume the "Transcode to.. 'P2 DVCPRO HD'" option is the higher quality to use rather than "AVI DV". So, doing that I get "MXF" files (also a format I am unfamiliar with).
This format I am able to import into After Effects CS3 but it interprets the footage as 29.97 frame rate even though I shot it at 24P. Am I missing something? Did I convert it incorrectly or is AE interpretting it incorrectly or is that the DVCPRO HD format?
Any information is definitely appreciated! Thanks in advanced!
