Hey there, first of all, great site been hanging around looking for advice and looking at everyones films and such. Nice works.

Anyway, to business.

Currently about to go into production of a short film with a newly obtained DVX-100B so fingers crossed it all goes well. Details below.

Title: Confrontation

Genre: Dark Comedy Drama

Length: Approx 5-6 minutes

Camera: DVX100B

Budget: £500 GBP

Locations: Luton Sixth Form College

Cast: TBC :S

Writer/Director/Cinematographer: S Sid Ahmed

Producers: Z A Sharif, James Burgess, S Sid Ahmed, Laura Stafford & Hannah Smith

Executive Producer: Phil Dickson-Earle & Sean Doyle

Production Status: Principal photography begins on 31st October

Style: Dark choppy comedy for fast paced on the seat action

Synopsis: Editor in Cheif of PLD Media Group has just been caught and jailed for the unprovoed and random attack of GBH on an employee who is now in intensive care. We look back at the events that led to this brutal and visceral crime...

Additional Information: This is a project that I'm using as a teaching method for my students at college which we're hopefully going to tour internationally at festivals. It's dark, it's comical and it has a huge twist. I think.

We'll try and keep a constant flow of information about the project as it comes along. We start principal photography on 31st October.

Thanks for reading :)

it's only a one day shoot and hopefully the final edit will be done by the following weekend.
then i'm handing it to my music students to score it and i'm looking at a mid november completion.

actually had the first (and daresay) last rehearsal with my two lead actors today. was pretty good besides the fact we were in the city centre and attracting a fair bit of attention at points. good publicity maybe :)

oh and we don't know one of the leads names.... :S

sid, out
