Hi DVXusers.

Last fall we shot the first half of our action feature 'Concrete' on the FS100. Used the Atomos Ninja, and lensed with Zeiss super speeds.

If you're a fan of stripped down, minimal narrative action movies like 'The Warriors' (1979) or 'The Raid' (2011), you should check it out.
Pass the link on and we'll be eternally grateful!

We're also doing a little crowdfunding in hopes of upping our game for the second half of production.

Any technical questions on the production, go ahead.

That looked really cool. Thanks for sharing.

Did you notice that the Atmos Ninja made a difference in the low light vs. the in-camera recording?

The big difference is that it preserves a more film-like, crisp grain in the high ISO's. The AVCHD is great in low ISO, but mushes the grain together in high ISOs. The ProRes recordings preserve it very nicely.

This is an all-around great trailer. The story looks very raw and opens up so much potential.

Technically, how did you get the super-slo-mo shots? The running foot shot was great.

Well first off, I gotta say, that's one of my all-time faves. The quick shot @ :13 takes me back.

The trailer has me very interested, mission accomplished. Keep us updated with the progress of Concrete. I hope to see this one day.

One of the best looking trailers I've seen coming out of Toronto! Great job Matthew and team. Glad to see you're putting Bo Martyn to work  She's a hidden gem, that one is.

Very nice, as everything you touch does Matt.

The only critique I have is that the street fighting scenes looked so dark that it was hard to see the fighting.

Wow! Thanks guys. You are all my mentors and peers, so of course any comments and compliments are much appreciated.

That shot was actually a 7D 60fps shot, acted slowly, then twixtored to 10 percent speed.

Pictures profiles.

The most common picture profile for night was Standard gamma, with Standard color matrix. The B/W stuff near the end was cinematone2, with the color down to 0. Now I just want to only shoot cinematone2 with standard as the color matrix. I just really like the way the baked in contrast looks, I hardly want to touch it at all in post.

I dont actually own the camera(yet), but why didn't you shoot it on the FS100 as well? On the specs page on the Sony website it says it can shoot 1080/60p for NTSC version
