F3: Concerned about Voltage levels with V-Mount Adapter

Hello friends!

I just picked up a used f3 and im loving it so far.

I purchased this Switronix V-Mount adapter with it:

I am using it to power the f3 with a BP-GL95 Sony battery.

I am also using the P-Tap adapter to power a nanoflash.

Now as for my question.

Previously i was powering the nanoflash with a battery that registered right around 7.96 volts on the nanoflash.

On the new P-Tap input it shows up as 16 volts, and 16 volts for the f3.

Is there any possibility that this 16 volt input could burn out either the f3 or the nanoflash?

I know the adapter said it is made for use with an f3, but i am still a bit nervous about the possibility of frying my equipment.

If there is a danger does anyone know of a way to regulate the voltage to a lower level input?

Any advice or input you can give me would go a long way towards alleviating my fears over this.

I hope someone has experience with a similar setup.

In the F3 manual it states the power requirements are 11.0 volts to 17.0 volts.
The Nanoflash manual states 6.5 volts to 19.5 volts.

So I would have thought they'd both be fine. I ran an F3 with Nanoflash from a similar V-Lock for two years without problems.

From what I've seen higher voltage are better since once you power one or more devices the voltage will drop anyway and in some cases too low a voltage can cause equipment to perform unreliable. I saw it with some PAG batteries I rented whereas my own IDX batts performed well. Always test in advance and do your own research as much as possible.
