"The patent-pending WVIL system takes the connectivity and application platform capabilities of today's smart phones and wirelessly connects them with interchangeable full SLR-quality optics. "

There was a mention of this kind of technology on Monday's "All Things Considered". It was in the context of a segment about Cisco ceasing support for their Flip cameras.

I heard about the Cisco decision- interesting NPR would wrap this camera's technology into that segment.
Interesting stuff (hmm, that's one interesting too many, or is it two now?).

Were are the XLR inputs? Does it have HDMI out? Is the HDMI out recordable? How's the moire and aliasing? Is the 24 motion close to that of film? Is there a recording limit? What media does it take? Is there pattern noise? Is there banding? How's the low light? What happens if I point it right at the sun? Can it super-impose guidelines for other aspect ratios? Can it record in 1080p60? 1080p120? How's the build quality? Does it have an Instant Print button? What about the shutter button? Is it big like Nikon's or small like Canon's? When you press it does it move far enough to feel substantial? What's the shutter sound? Does it sound professional enough? What about colors? Can I get it in black so it looks cooler? Can I put matte boxes on it if it doesn't look cool enough? Where's that damn Instant Print button? I need an Instant Print button.
