computer screen flicker-EX-1R

I'm sure this has been posted somewhere, but I didn't have time to search for it. I have a shoot in less than 24 hours where I'll be shooting a website tutorial with my EX1-R. I was doing some pre-shoot testing on my iMac and once I grab focus I see lines on both my camera LCD and my external SmallHD monitor that look almost like the peaking was turned on. I don't have flicker reduction turned on in the camera (it's equally as bad on or off). How can I eliminate this so I get a nice clean screen image? Or, am I just another victim of a CMOS issue and there is no fix other than possibly in post?

ANY help is much appreciated!

What is your shutter speed - 1/48th? It should be 1/60th if shooting under florescent lights or shooting most TVs/monitors in NTSC land. Note that some might vary to 1/75...etc, so you may need to adjust shutter speed to taste.

I had one client that needed me to shoot an older LED IMAG type of screen. I ended up using a long shutter speed like 1/30th or 1/15th in order to compensate for the flickering.

Thanks for the reply, Jason. I tried a couple of different shutter speeds and think I finally settled on 1/60th. I also changed my depth of field a bit by moving camera/tripod back a little from the screen. It doesn't seem as bad when you're not zoomed in close and the camera is at a bit of a distance.

On a side note, when you said you were adjusting your shutter speed, what camera were you using? 1/15, 1/30, 1/48 and 1/75 aren't an option on my EX1R. Just curious.
