Computer problem

So I was browsing the web when all the sudden a thin blue horizontal line
appears from top to bottom of my laptop screen.
I have tried restarting the computer & it won't go away no matter what I do.
Any help?

That's probably a screen or motherboard problem. The way to narrow it down is to hook an external monitor up to your laptop. (If you call tech support they'll ask you to do this anyway) If you still get the horizontal line then it's a problem with the video portion of the motherboard and will need to be replaced. If there isn't a line on the external monitor then it's the screen and will probably need to be replaced. Either way a major bummer. I had that happen on my powerbook a year and a half ago. And had to send it in to replace the motherboard. Highly unlikey that it's software related, but if you're on windows you could try reinstalling the monitor driver.
