Hi.

Does anyone know any computer monitors 19"-22" with a flip function? I have a mayflash component hd to vga adapter and an Xenarc 7" with flip function, but I would like to connect my HVX/M2 combo to a larger monitor as well sometimes.

are you on windows or a mac? there is software for windows that allows for varying degrees of rotation (to accommodate all the variously rotated plasma displays in retail and sport venues)

i havent used it in quite some time, but if i recall its called "...pivot..." something or other.
here it is:

OK, maybe I wasn't to clear on this, but I won't use it with a computer at all. I will hook it up to my hvx for a low cost hd production monitor, so software solutions won't help me...

You could always turn your monitor upside down when you set it up. You might take a while to get used to pressing your buttons upside down, but in the end it might be cheaper than going in for a new monitor. Of course if its one of the studio CRT monitors, sitting it upside down might not be the best idea...

I own serious Magic HD rack which does the same job. But as I said, I want a monitor, not a software solution...

as for turning the monitor upside down, this is what I want to avoid... Both because it will be a hassle to make it stand upside down, but mostly because the viewing angle from below is alwas much worse than viewing from above which aparently will be a problem turning the whole thing upside down.

I know a few 7" monitors with a flip function, just not any bigger ones.

Well to be honest, I cannot see any significant differences on my Apple Cinema Display when I compare the viewing angles from below and above.

You can always get a VESA mount and just rotate the display easily.
