I have a Mac G4 with a LaCie Electron19blue, and my footage always look darker with my display than on the LCD and TV screen. What is the adjustement you do to calibrate your display as close as the LCD and a standard NTSC video monitor for good result in post.

Re: Computer Display adjustement

you should calibrate your display (system preferences > Displays). i found that a calibration based on 1.8 gamma is the right one to work with video. but i'm sure that there are some real "standards" you should follow.. there are also softwares made especially for that.
this might help: http://www.drycreekphoto.com/Learn/monitor_calibration.htm
