Compressor Doesn't Open Anymore

Hello,

I'm working with FCS 2.
When I was working with FCP 5,1,4 and COMPRESSOR, I have no difficulty to open COMPRESSOR 2.
With the new version of FCP 6,0, I cannot open COMPRESSOR 3 anymore.

I've got the following message:

Thread: 0

Exception: EXC_BAC_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x6c61635f


What's happened.

i too get the same problem, though without the messages. Compressor just quits automatically after it is done loading, anybody know whats up? and better yet, what's the fix?

i just want to say i got the same problem. i reinstalled the whole fcs 2 with no success. is there anyone who have some solution to this?

You have to make sure you actually remove the entire install before reinstalling. You can't just drag the program to the trash and reinstall. Try this document:

My problem wasn't resolved until I followed this to remove the program entirely and reinstall. BTW, I had to remove the Motion pkg as well to get the install disk to recognize it needed reinstalled. Hope that helps.

well actually i found the reason to my problem later on today...
it was because i had not updated the software to compressor 3.0.4... so i did all the updating and now everything is running fine...:Drogar-Happy(DBG):
strange though that it reacted like this by not responding....
well, thats how i did it in the end...
