I've compressed it 3 times and the lowest I can get it to is 83.3 MB!!!!

I followed these guidelines ultimately shrinking the frame size to 649x 360 TUTORIAL

H264
640x360
frame Automatic

I placed the bit rate at 950
not set to stream
ACC audio Stereo at 48000 (default)
Project is 6 min exactly + the DVX leader so it is 6:10

I've compressed it 3 times each time taking over 3 hours... i need to get the next try right, please if anyone can give me the golden key... help!!!!

FCP 5.0.4

using quicktime conversion option in the export window

I'm going to try and drop audio to 32 and bit rate to 875 and quality to medium... just need to get it small enough to submit then I will try and resubmit a better version after I figure it out.

Thank GOD! It's all good.

Thank GOD! It's all good.

So it turnes out that using the basic settings and the just above medum level does the trick. In fact it does too good of a trick as it is now 19 MB. So I can submit and then try and get a better version tomorrow. Thank you all for trying to help. Mike you're a life saver.

Might sound stupid but it's happened to me ALOT-

Do you have anything pushed down your timeline?

Sometimes you have footage in a big gap in your timeline, so when you think your exporting 6 minutes, it's actually 10, or maybe even 15, or 35, who knows.

Just check that first.
