I have a PremierePro file that is 2.5 hours in length and 6.5 gig (video). Too large for DVD. There is a qualtiy slider I adjusted from highest to 2 and the file size remained the same (although audio file was reduced). There are also settings for target bitrate, maximum and minimum bitrate. I am trying to find how to adjust the size to fit a standard 4.7 gig DVD. Unlike Final Cut ( so I hear) it does not show you the file size. I know this is the wrong forum but got no responce or search results. thanks

I use mainconcept mpeg pro for premiere pro and it gives u all the options and information u need, there are also bitrate calculators that will give you the proper size....

to fit that on a dvd using a software encoder ure lookin at around 2000-3000 average bit rate, make sure u do vbr, set ure lowest to 500 and ure highest to 5000, u make have to go lower on ure average b/r....good luck
