Compression Artifacts and Pixelization!?!?

Hi,

I just completed shooting a feature on this camera, now in post using FCP4. Camera footage looks great on the tapes, but once in the machine it begins to degrade quickly. Color correction in particular is problematic, but also in any in/out of After Effects.

I am very eager to see other projects completed through post on this camera and committed to DVD to see what the final product looks like.

My last film was shot on the Sony VX1000 and blown-up to 35mm after being edited and on-lined in the Media100xs and I had no where near the signal degradation that I see on this footage.

Help.
