Composite A/V on FS100

Hello all,

Just wondering what is the point of keeping a composite RCA connection on the back of a camera like this? Wouldn't this camera been much better off with an HDMI / SDI connection?

Being 2012, I just really don't see the point of keeping this connection on a camera like this.

My Pilot would hate it without the composite... once you tried running an external cable down the center post once you never do it again willingly

I use it to run out to a LCD TV as a directors monitor, its crude but works well and is cheap.
