Greetings all.
I want to be upfront and tell you that this is a ridiculous request, and for that I apologize.
My production partner and I have been putting together a feature length film that we intend to submit to Sundance this year. We had a composer who abruptly dropped the project and has left us high and dry with no music, and no options. The bigger problem here is that the absolute last-chance-you'll-be-paying-extra cutoff date for Sundance submission is September 25th. And now you begin to see the problem.
We need a composer who believes enough in the indie spirit that he or she can produce a score for a 75 - 80 minute film by the first week of September. Yes, about three weeks away.
The film itself is a buddy comedy film. We don't need anything too epic, just a score that fits the film and makes it pop.
We're based in Springfield Missouri, but are prepared to work with anyone, regardless of location. If you're not close, then work will be conducted primarily over the phone and an FTP site that we have ready to go.
Compensation is standard indie fair: Points in the film.
