Composer for DramaFest '07..

Very cool takes on traditional songs/themes. I also dig Trans-Siberian Orchestra the way they take very traditional Chistmas songs & rock them out.

ha!! ya, those guys do rock out. I'm hoping to become the next one. Maneheim, Trans-sib, Weird Al, etc...

...as I hit back to the drawing boards, yet sitting in my studio on another random friday evening.

I loved the first one of your xmas songs the most. And I love the way they sort of .. kicked into Epic Mode, if you know what i mean.

And I also listen to his music when im writing or designing a storyboard. Its something bout it that just gets you in the mood or helps you visualize.

Anyway, keep knocking them out. I'll sure be one to listen to them.

Justin, ever been to one of their concerts (Trans-Siberian)? Like a massive theatrical rock show, laser lights, etc.

ha!! Norm, Nope. Not yet. :) I've just heard their music through the interweb and thinking to myself... damn, this is cool stuff.

oh.. and ya, I read it. I'm ready whenever you guys are! Anxious to see how it's pulled off. ;)

hi edgen, loved your music demos on your site. what software do you use to create it? do you know a good source where i can get some great loops or cinematic sounds from? i'm using soundtrack pro.

filmboy... Thanks man! I use gigastudio (along with lots of samples) and SONAR as my midi sequencer.

One place that I've always referred to is: www.soundsonline.com they've got some great sound libraries at really good prices.

Norm.. changes.. Ya, you know the part when the FBI agent asks who killed the guy and the blonde girl is about to reveal that she's actually the killer, ya.. I thought that was a little cliche.... Ya know?

OOh.. OOOPS!!!!! heheheh wrong script. sorry. ;)

(seriously, nope, I think you guys got it nailed down pretty good. Perhaps add one last twist at the end)

norm, ya, i took it down. :)

It just got bigger. Wrapped "Silent Night" and "Carol of the bells" last night. maybe I'll post those in the next few days along with the holy night.

Cool, that'd be awesome. You're picking some serious winners to score.

O Holy Night is definitely lots of folks' favorte, just because if for no other reason than the sheer passion & raw energy that can go into it for the lead vocal. :)

That's true Norm, it is a great piece to sing. I found a nice arrangement of it and sang at our church a couple years ago, now it gets requested every year. :) It has a nice range to it and definitely lot's of passion.

Thanks Justin...I'm starting to get into the holiday spirit, and that's always a good thing :)

OK, last one i swear. :) I'm just on a rollllllll

I took the photo of my blue light set (which, inspired me to start writing these in the first place) against a blank piece of Art Board. Ironic eh?
I've got the track listing all set too: www.edgen.com/music/albums.html

Soo... those of you who have me down for doing your drama fest films... hurry up and get them shot and edited. The sooner the better. :)

Great news, Justin, and slick looking cover. I honestly got to get off my duff & purchase some of your CD's ... especially this new one to play over the holidays!

Justin, nice looking CD cover there! I am listening to tunes from your site right now actually... the stuff in the Electronic section just blows me away man... and beautiful rendition of We Three Kings... that's one of my favorite Christmas carols.
