My collaborator and I are looking for a short film in need of film score for the purpose of gaining experience and being able to use the film in part or whole as a demonstration reel. This means for a small project, we are willing to work for free.
We are located in Sacramento.
I write jazz influenced arrangements as well as string arrangements.
My partner is a skilled recording engineer looking to gain audio-for-video experience.
We may be able to accommodate larger projects but would require conversation with the filmmaker/producer.
We have many sample libraries to work from and we have the equipment to complete an end product that is high-quality, just no film.
If this is the wrong forum I apologize and please let us know what is correct etiquette for asking these types of questions. Moderators, please move to correct forum if this is incorrect.
Best regards,
Christopher and Paul
