Component out to pass thru output from FCP?

Is it possible to use the component output on an HVX200 to pass through video being edited on Final Cut Pro?

I know it will pass through the composite signal in tape mode, but I'd like to use the component output if possible.

It is not possible on the original HVX200, but I understand that this can be done on the HPX170 and, I believe, the HVX200A.

Well then I guess this is a FCP/Mac question now.

I just need to get FCP output to an HDMI or RGB component-capable monitor inexpensively. I don't have any need for all the Kona/AJA i/o stuff.

Any ideas?

The 200A can't do it, nor can the 200. The 170 can, and the P2 Gear can.
