Component HD to HD/SDI

Ok,

So I know there is no magical adapter that can change my analog signal to digital, but I was hoping someone may be able to help me get a cheap method of getting signal to my monitor.

The HVX obviously outputs the analog, and I have a Marshall V-R70P (HD/SDI) monitor that my friend has loaned me.

Thoughts? Could one make a cable that would send a signal? Is there a cheap analog to digital converter box anyone knows about. Any help would be GREAT!

It's a possibility, I will def. keep it in mind thanks. Anyone else have anything?

You won't likely find anything better than the Blackmagic convertors. They're cheap (considering), they have a great reputation, and they're small.

ı use component to hdmi converter, it's around 150$...

I'm all about the 150 dollar one, this monitor is not so much for focus and what - more for just being able to see it better while dollying and what not.

Which one would I need for the HVX to a Marshall V-R70P, so I can have a 720 output?

Analog to SDI — $495 would be the correct one right?

Excuse my ignorance.

It's amazing how "up-converting" is possible at electronic stores in the mall.
I had a dude showing me a hub with multiple IOs insisting it can take composite to component.
I was like "well, yeah but it's then a component signal of what is already mudded up."
Thats just pretty composite with an extra step aint it?
dude was all "no see it USE to be composite. Now it's component."
lol
it's not unlike the converastion I had with my cable installer when he came in telling me I now have uncompressed comonent HD coming to my house.
oh rilly?
I guess that makes me speacial as hell then.
lol
