component cable

does anyone know where to buy a component cable that runs from the hmc150 to a hd monitor? I accidently broke mine during a shoot and the only replacement I can find is through panasonic which they say may take up to a month to replace.

I wouldn't even know where such a cable exists. You can't use the HDMI out jack?

I looked at the ones from my Sony A1 and my now Sold Sony FX1... and the plug is the same shape but a little smaller (for a moment i thought they might be the same)

If your HD monitor doesn't have HDMI inputs then surely it has a DVI input. Go grab an HDMI -> DVI adapter on Amazon.com - they're like five bucks.

I use this to connect my HMC150 to my desktop LCD monitor - works great!

I believe its an H4 cable. You can find them on a bunch of sites. I'd say get a shortie and then just use barrels and regular RCA to lenghten your run.
