Component cable question

Have a client flying in with a 170 and renting some of my lighting and monitor. Thinking he might forget the component cable will my Sony(EX-3) (small D to RCAs ) work on the 170?

I don't think so. I think the Sony uses the small D connector and the HPX170 uses the larger D connector.
