I'm using the component out cable as i usually do, and for some off reason I am getting poor color as if one of the Red Green or Blue colors are not connected.. I get an image, just BAD color..

The camera display shows the color fine..
The S-VIDEO is fine..

Things to note..
I just got and hooked up my M2 adapter..

I just got and hooked up my marshall monitor..

Anyway, it REALLY SUCKS, I hope its a setting.. but I havnt changed anything!!!

Thanks guys.. and girls...

Methinks you have one of the component cables not hooked up correctly. Y= Green Yb=Blue Yr=Red Check them out. If not how about some more info is it that way on one or all of your monitors.

I have the marshall and a DLP HD TV.. Its the same on both.. I know i have it hooked up right.. I wish it was that easy!!!!! GRRRRRR!!!

Are there any setting on the camera?

Haakon, another member on the board, had problems with the same cable, and had to replace the cable 3 times during his last shoot.

I know of no settings that would give you this type of result. Can you try anyone elses cable, maybe your dealer. Or maybe try plugging into another monitor.

Good luck and hopefully the solution will be at hand,

Rob

Thank you.. I an hoping it's just the cable.. To bad the camera is only 3 months old.. I never liked the way that cable connected to the camera... I wish there could be another way, like through my brainwaves..

I'll let you guys know what happens..

It's the cable.. it stared working when i brushed it with my finger, and it seems as if the BLUE wire is not happy.. Any idea how to fix a cable? and where to buy them? I cant find them, nor do I know what the connector that attaches to the camera is called?

Thanks everyone!! I AM SO HAPPY ITS NOT THE CAMERA!!!!!!!!

The Cable is a D4 to component cable...google will show you several options.

Thanks for this, I've been wondering what these were called. I'm hoping I can find one with a right angle D4 end so that it sticks out less and also a much shorter length. Maybe have a custom one made (anyone else interested?)

For what it's worth Justin, I have the Marshall and it looks great when its all working!

Mandycastro why are you pimping an avatar of Terry? Or wait... are you guys twins? im confused now... :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
