Hello. I have been a full time photographer for 2 decades. I caught the Vincent LaForet buzz, and when I had the money, sank a ton into a very, very complete Jag 35 Rig with every option. Then I found I have not actually used it,
and probably won't. Too busy with stills. So, I am just going to sell it. I may regret it down the road, but it is what it is. I wrote out all that paid for it, with all the bells and whistles, and it comes to 2,324$ with the shipping.
It is more or less, just about everything that can go onto a rig to make it complete. It can be mounted with the offset option, if you are using a Zactuo Z-finder directly on the back of your camera. Or, it can be used the included
straight option rod raiser to shoot straight, and have a monitor off to the side. This is the Offset Shoulder Rig, V. 2, with FULL Zacuto rod upgrade, the cage, a tripod mount, a DJFocus V 3.0, a mini ball head, lot's of rail blocks
to mount a monitor, a microphone, a Zoom, lights, etc. It has the DJ Follow Focus v3.0, and it has a second mount option on the front, so if you are using a long lens, say a 70-200, you can move the follow focus up to
use a long lens. It has a rock solid quick release articulating arm for monitor, etc. It also has the sweet Switronix release, so you can trigger the record button from the handle, instead of reaching up through the rig. Again
it has the Zacuto rods,and three 2" Zacuto extenders so you can make some rods longer if you need. I have set it up to show how it can be configured. I fiddled with it here and there and tried it once, but don't use it.
Refer to the Jag35 website for the specs and info. on parts. Also included are 3 of the Jag35 gear sets for lenses that work with the DJ Focus. It is set up so you can drop the back portion with the weight, and hold the handle
to use it for low shots. I took as many description photographs as I could. There are a few things also included that I did not count in the price that may come in handy. Can also throw in an HDMI cable. So, if you have
been thinking about a rig, and don't feel like spending 3 to 5 thousand on a Zacuto rig, or 3 thousand on a Red Rock rig, you can get everything under the sun for WAY less. It all cost me over 2,400$ (when I add the nick nacks)
and I am selling it for 1,095$ Everything works. The DJ focus seems to have a little play in it, but I don't know if that is normal, or if I need to tighten a screw. Other than that it is all golden. Has not been dropped, etc.
This is 1,400 off. I am not interested in selling parts of it. This will be offered on several sites, and possibly ebay. I am located in the Baltimore area, and can do a pick up/drop off. Otherwise it will ship for a flat
