HPX250: Compatible wide angle adapters

I just picked up an HPX250 and am now in the market for a wide angle adapter and possibly a fisheye in the future. I noticed that on my other camera that when I bought a 37mm wide angle, it was not wide enough and I got some really bad vignetting when zoomed out, and when I zoomed in to relieve it, the angle of view ended up being the same as it would have been without the adapter.

So, does anybody know what wide angle adapters work well with the 72mm mount on the HPX250? I've been eyeballing one from 16x9 and one from Century, both in 72mm mount. I'd rather not have the hassle of buying it and returning till I find one that works well :Drogar-BlackEye(DBG.

Should I get just one in an 82mm mount and use a step-up ring?

The uses would be indoor shooting and some wide angle landscape shots. My price range is around $600 US.

Thanks
Jim

Schnieder-Century Optics wil be coming out with a .7

A few weeks ago I had my company donate our HPX250 to schneider century optics for a few days of R&D. They said they are adjusting their .7 and it should be coming out in a few weeks to a month. They loaned us a .6 that currently fits, and works great for about half your zoom range. 3.9-25 but goes soft at the end of the end of the range. I would wait a month and see what they come out with unless you have a drop dead deadline that you must have it?

The 250 is pretty wide. I was shooting a commercial in a kitchen and I was shocked at how much I could see on the wide.

Is there any news on this question...
Just ordered the HPX-250 and I need a fisheye lens adapter- and possibly a wide angle adapter (shooting real estate-tight/small rooms).
The lens might OK as is for tight spaces, I'll have to wait and see on that, but I'll definitely need the fisheye adapter.

Will adapters made for the HPX170 or other 72mm threaded lenses work?
Anyone using a fisheye lens adapter that they love and didnt break the bank?

thanks!

Mike
