Compact and light rig for Run and Gun shooting

I am searching for a compact and light rig for Run and Gun shooting. I need to be able to mount a recorder (Marantz 661) and a shotgun mic to the rig. Rigging time from opening the camera bag to start filming is crusial. I am going to use the rig for travel and nature documentaries. I will be carrying the rig for long distances and therefore the weight and size is very important. I also need a light and compact matte box.

Any suggestion?

Research the indifocus ultra compact. Some luv it some not so much....but its pretty compact and it can be folded. I myself just ordered a rig from CPMfilmtools...cuz IMO they are the best bang for buck qualitywise..but may not be as compact and quick as what you are looking for.

I got this http://www.cpmfilmtools.com/DSLR_Flyer_Shoulder_Rig_p/flyr_dslr_shldr%20-%2082.htm but within this month they upgrade it to Basially this http://www.cpmfilmtools.com/DSLR_Cage_p/sdwndr_dslr_advcd - 74.htm but without the handle.

I also got a uni strut (small) and 20 inch rails and the handle to make a monitor friendly rig and so it can mount other things i may need (the uni stru has threaded holes). The above offset flyer is for when i'm using hte zfinder alone.

Id look into something from dvtec, their rigs are extremely comfortable and well made for the price. (they also break down to just a few parts and/or you can fold them up)

I have been looking at the at the multirig at http://www.dvtec.tv/ and have also watch the video at http://vimeo.com/7489101. This rig looks nice and compact. However there might not be an easy way to mount the recorder and microphone without removing it every time the camera is put in the bag.

I have also been looking at the indiSystem ultracompact http://www.indisystem.com/products/ultra_compact. This seems to be very good value and many people on this board seems to like it. However this rig does not seem to be very fast to work with and is not very compact.

The gini rigs looks nice. However I have not managed to find a very compact model.

The lightest solution would maybe be to use the very cheap plastic support system http://tinyurl.com/hdslr-rig and then build something on top of this out of metal/carbon. I am then only thinking of using the main shoulder support and then building something on top of this. Maybe using gini parts. Look at the end of this video to get the idea:

I have also looked at rigs in these sites:

http://jag35.com

http://cpmfilmtools.com

What I find really strange is that very few sites specify the weight of their rigs. This is strange when they use expensive material like carbon rods to keep the weight down.
