Common DVX problem?

Hey Guys,

I'll order my dvx100a next week from B&H and I've been reading a lot here and in other foruns. I noticed a bunch of people is having issues with dirt head drums after just a few hours of usage. Should I be worried about this problem? Is it a common dvx problem?

If you use Panasonic's MQ tapes, I don't think you will experience any unusual head issues. Don't mix tape types and you will be fine.

Don't worry and enjoy your new DVX!
 
Well thanks for the advice...

I'm really happy for buying the dvx, and right now nothing can distract me from that.
