What's the best way to get the look of a commercial on the DVX?

Also, what about color correction?

-Mildly attractive house wife looking women saying stupid things to each other about details of a product

-Dopey, beer gut guys doing something stupid in a 'cute' sort of way

-Long disclaimers about said product causing impotence and diareah at the end of a clip


I believe these are scene file settings 8, 9 and 12 respectively.
 
In many commercials i see that there are alway many bright colors which attract a viewer instead of making them change the channel....what kind of commercial are you shooting? On the dvx i think your best shot is to shoot as natura colors as you can with as much light as possible....i am not sure how many commercials are shot in 24p but it seems that all the commercial look very realistic and probably shot in 60p/30p....anyone can correct me on that though...
