Commercial shot mostly on the 5D

I really enjoyed it. I liked the use of humor, without it being jokey.

My favorite line was "your father was made of it..." I had to think for a second,
then smiled to myself. It's hard to walk the line between too obvious and too
obscure. You direction balanced the two very well.

I particularly liked the closeup on the girl's face with braces. Nice choice. She's not
laughing at her dad, more with the audience. For me, her reaction set the tone for
the whole commercial.

Again, great job. I can no longer tell the difference between 5D and RED, though I'm
sure others here will have a more discerning eye.

Congratulations.

Thanks for the comments Peter! I watch it now and all I see are the flaws and/or what I would do differently.

I will say that the Red was a tremendous pain to use (this was my first shoot with it), and I don't attribute that to the camera but more to this being a low budget shoot and us not having the proper support for the camera (i.e lighting, crew, etc)

Both the 5D and the Red have incredible strengths and weaknesses, though at the moment for a low budget shoot such as this I would by far choose the 5D.

Great spot

Great spot

I really like the whole spot, great effects and great grading, nice feel and look over all.

I really liked it great shots, great animation and the narrators voice suited the commercial.

really nice stuff, I checked out your other work too. I really like the brake commercial. Nice sense of humor and great VFX. Being from the Bay Area as well it's nice to see some familiar locations. You guys in San Jose?

Thanks! Yep, we're located in the Bay Area; our office is in Santa Clara, though we're often in the East Bay. I checked out some of your stuff as well; very cool stuff. Love the Cinematography Trailer!
