Commercial on HVX

I just directed a commercial on the HVX and I noticed more noise than the DVX. Has anyone figured out the best settings to minimize the noise? I know this topic has been beat to death. But since more and more people are shooting with the HVX now, maybe some new answers have come up. By the way, I used Pro Mist filters and they seemed to increase the noise problem. Any type of color correction also magnified the problem.

Also, I'm about to test the HVX with the M2. Will this increase noise?

I really want to like this cam but the noise kinda bothers me.

This camera has a lot going for it but low noise is not one of them. Proper lighting is the best way to reduce the noise. As for adding an M2, it will most likely compound the noise.

Youi can use a UV16 Haze cutter to reduce noise. Also avoid shooting anything "too Blue" or "too Red". Then color-correct for a Blue or Red look later. As Blue and Red tend to increase NOISE!!!
