Commercial I shot on the FS100

Postmaster

Dark Side of the Camera
Here is a commercial I shot on the FS100 for a ATTAC campaign against fiscal evasion.
The lower third says "At the end, you pay"

Make sure you watch in full resolution - YouTube compression and scaling is bad enough.

The music was written to fit the final edit - like the old school feeling that has.
You don´t see that kind of work very often anymore. It´s called Mickey Mousing over here in Germany and
most people consider it a bit cheesy - something out of a Tex Avery flick. But I think it works really great here.

And yeah, that poor bloke hat to eat more than 5 lobsters, till we got it right. :)

For Art, one has to sacrifice.

Not being a native German speaker, what is this spot about?

Is the fat guy a politician handing the taxpayer the bill??

Really amazing! Which PP have you used, Frank? The skin tones and DR are awesome!

Gotta keep some secret sauce for me hehehe

..just kidding, I used G-LOG A.

But it was pretty difficult DR-wise, cause the sun was burning into that room.
We closed the curtains and had additional scrims outside, but not enough.

It´s about tax fraud/tax evasion.

So the fat guy is someone who brings his money to Swizerland, Luxembourg or some exotic island, to escape taxes.

I take it as the answer to my PP question :) Well - no wonder you don't want to share everything, but perhaps just a hint on how you got rid of this red/magenta cast to people's faces... Please?

One thing I can say for sure: this piece is by far the best looking flesh tones from the FS100, ever. Point :)

Got interruptet while typing - I answered in the same post.

It´s not only the PP, but careful lighting and flagging plus some color grading in Colorista.
I had two kinos and a 1k fresnell.
