Commercial Contests

me and my friends enter a bunch of commercial contests and are looking for feedback. Most our stuff is goofy and not going to have a chance of winning, but its fun to enter anyway. So some story and production criticism would be helpful for future contests, and let me know which ones you liked or hated the most.

Moe's- Really liked the music and editing on this one. The commercial was really cheesy..which was clearly your goal.
The one joke I missed was the dog. Was it supposed to be cheesy because of what it was wearing?

Fed Ex- This one was my second favorite. One problem I had with it was the tracking shot. It could have been smoother. I also felt that it may not have been necessary. It felt a bit out of place in correlation with the other shots.

Text Messaging- The was my favorite. I think that the acting and dialogue was best in this one. I loved the ending "permission denied!" Hilarious.
Look into the 180 degree line rule. I felt that you crossed it almost every other shot and it was disorienting. Also, you used gun fire smoke was used twice and it wasn't necessary the second time. The shot showing it the second timed looked too fresh, almost exactly like the first time the gun went off.

Butterfinger- I wasn't all to interested in this one. I appreciated the "kids arts and crafts" humor but it didn't really leave me with anything.
