Any comments on our showreel, any ideas on how to improve it?

Shot on DVX100 and HVX200 with SG Pro.

Find it at www.triadfilm.com

We've got some grain in the video. What's the best compression to use for Internet?

Your camera work is really pro... but you've shown something, move on and don't feel the need to repete it.

It's my experiance that most of the time you've already got the job the reel just confirmes you can do the job well.

You had my vote 30 sec into your reel....

I don't ned to see that many examples of slow motion, fast motion, time lapse or staic nature shots

To me a reel just needs to show how compitent you are as a shooter.

You're does that, just take out those shots that aren't that impressive or that are duplicates of what we've already seen... you have a rack focus on a chain or piece of metal... not hard to do, not impressive but more importantly not that interesting. How about a rack forus on a long dolly shot between several subjects???

On a more nit-pickey note... I would delete the second shot in your reel. THe flair is nice, if that's your taste, but the dust on your lens is hard to look at as nothing but a mistake. Clean your lens or dont shoot wide open at a light.

Good work.

Ditto to what THX said.. especially the 2nd shot with the dirt on the lens.. I'd take that out for sure.

Like the ending shot a lot... that's money for sure. Thanks for showing was a nice piece with a great choice of music. Is that Radiohead?

Thanks for you comments... Have allso thought about the second shot, it is dusty but i love the feel of the clip... Guess i will have to find another shot to replace it with.

JUSTYN - The Song is Aqualung-Breaking my heart.

MOOG - Dont know why it didnt show up, will ask the guy who put up the page.

Nice work very professional. I also agree to loose the timelapse shots, they sort of cheapen up the look of your reel.
