MUSIC VIDEO: Comfortably Numb Music Video

It's taken nearly 10 months from concept to completion, but I'm quite pleased with the video editing job I did, especially considering the poor quality of the material I had to work with. None of the cameras (including mine) were even half decent , and no money was spared... er... I mean expended on lighting or proper green screens. :)

I expect you lot will be a tough audience, and will no doubt see all the problems, as I do. I find it impossible to objectively look at anything I do. All I see are the faults.

My jobs were the vocals and audio/video production. I can't even begin to guess how many hours it took me to edit. :)

This was done purely for fun.

That's one of my favourite songs of all time. I really liked it. The guitarist nailed the solos so well that Gilmour would of been proud. For something that was done for fun, it was very good. You used the fades really well. I would have got more medium/close up shots of the bass guitarist though, as there are plenty of shots of singer, guitarist, drummer and keyboard player. Other than that, a great production.

Thanks for the reply. I know what you mean about the bass player. We all shot a wide angle and a close up except the bass player. He only supplied a wide shot. The keyboard player shot in 1080P and I had to degrade the video so it didn't look too out of place amongst the footage from the old cameras everyone else used. the other thing that bothers me is that the keyboard video has the wrong perspective, but getting him to reshoot was not possible.

Again, thanks for taking the time to provide me with some feedback.
