Long time reader, first time poster.
Two summers ago my company filmed 'Come on Down.'
Full video http://vimeo.com/24535865
Trailer http://vimeo.com/22663310
It is a 36 minute short film that follows Michelle Roland who loves game shows but isn't sure about her career as a bait and tackle employee. When a handsome nomadic stranger becomes her coworker she begins to wonder if small town living is her way of life.
It was shot on the HVX 200a in 720 HD with a Letus adapter and Ziess 35mm Lenses.
After about two years in film festivals including winning the Provincetown International Film Festival Best Short among other awards, we have decided to put it all online.
It was a really great experience but we certainly made some mistakes (went way over budget / it is too long for film festivals).
The film got us enough respect with our investors to fund a feature that we are shooting in the fall.
All questions and criticism welcome.
Hope you enjoy!
Mike
