Combining Sqeezed and Letterboxed Footage

Hi

I have footage shot on squeeze and on letterbox mode
When i capture the squeeze footage i set the premiere project widescreen (1,422)
Now when i capture the letterbox footage their aspect ratio is 1,067 and when i convert to 1,422 i get the letterbox black bars and the picture is distorted

My question is : Can i scale the height of this image up 133% so that i stop seeing the black bars ? Is this wrong ? Am i loosing image quality ?

If yes is the answer can you tell me what the best solution to get a 16:9 output with maximum quality possible ?

Cheapest fast option is scaling 133%. Doing it this way will cause you to loose some quality on 16:9 TVs, but on a 4:3 TV, the footage will be letterboxed so it will look virtually identical.
