combining projects (.veg files) possible?

I am putting together a video and have several "Projects" that I would like to combine into a single project to render.

Is it possible to combine them, or do I have to render each separate project, then create a new project, import the rendered videos, place them on the timeline, and then re-render the entire project again?

If you have Vegas 6 or later, you can bring VEG files into a timeline as a clip. Do this with your projects and you can render them as one.

I did this once in Vegas 7. I just dragged the project files of different scenes I edited individually into a master project. The downside for me was that it took the individual scenes and turned them into a single video and audio track in the master time line. I had a easier time opening the master project, then opening each individual scene, selecting all and copy pasting them into the master project's time line. It let me edit each shot and track just like I would if I edited every scene one after another in one time line like I usually do.
