Today is September 2nd, which means today is the day our web show, Coma, Period. is live on the internet!

Dan Humford had an accident. Now he’s in a coma, forever caught in the infinite white canvas of his own mind, where he’s haunted by memories, personal insecurities, and sometimes candy bars, old girlfriends, and a fetus.

Bite-size at 2-4 minutes each, Coma, Period. is a darkly irreverent comedy about our inept hero, Dan, and the ways he torments and rewards himself in the stasis of being in a coma. Starring comedian and web celebrity Rob Delaney, this actively original web series is hilarious, funny, comical, and as many other synonyms as you can find on dictionary.com.

I'd love to embed the episodes here but (sigh) it still doesn't work on DVXuser. But you're just a click or two away from checking them out at your choice of...

No replies at all. Oh noes.

Well, anyway, I'm feeling really, really good because we got an absolutely amazing review from NewTeeVee. It feels so awesome to be associated with phrases like "few things in web video are done as well as they are in Coma, Period."

"It’s as if new-media-savvy web creators who know how to produce technical quality on a shoestring and web creators with actual creative talent got together and had babies, and those babies made a web series."

It's real nice when people appreciate your work like that. The show's still working on building an audience, but the first 5 episodes are out now, so hopefully it will start gathering steam.

We also got covered in a video interview by The Web Files, which called us a "buzz-worthy web series". If you're curious about our weird little lives here at Psychic Bunny, the video has some interesting moments. I even appear personally for a brief moment. They cut out the part where I begged for your millions, so I'm adding it back here:

SEND ME YOUR MILLIONS.

:)

Watch it now!

I'll continue to keep this updated, and maybe someday someone will reply!

I've read "Coma, Period" and the "Period" part immediately turned me off. Why not just "Coma."? Or am I expected to read it as "comma & period"? Or should I read it as "Coma period" like "Ice Age period"? Too much thinking involved in cracking the code in the name, if there is any hidden meaning at all.

Normally I don't like statements ending with "period", period. Thus I haven't bothered watching it.

Because it was formed during the strike, directly as a result of the strike!

Cranky - it is supposed to be a play on words, yes, but even so you might be overthinking it just a taaaaad. I'm forwarding your comments to the writer, as I suspect he will find them... well, I have no idea really.
